Puspakom plants trees for a greener earth

Puspakom management and staff spent a day planting trees at the Kepong Botanical Garden.

SHAH ALAM: Puspakom Sdn Bhd, the country’s vehicle inspection company, recently organised a tree-planting programme.

Held at the Kepong Botanical Garden, the programme was Puspakom’s first of many initiatives towards preservation of the environment, and was participated by its  staff from its headquarters and branches in Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan.

Puspakom chief executive officer, Hisham Othman, said the event was aimed at increasing awareness on the importance of ensuring a greener Earth.

“This is an excellent programme to bring the staff together and play their part. It is our responsibility to sustain and care about the environment for our future generations,” he said.

During the event, Puspakom also contributed RM20,000 to Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) for its research activities
