AMPANG JAYA Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) contractors have trimmed trees at Pandan Lake Club which were damaged in a recent storm.
MPAJ councillor Dorothy Cheong said joggers and residents   had informed her that some the tree branches   had snapped.

“We sent our contractors to trim the branches which pose a risk to joggers and children Cheong  said.

She said the  trees had been trimmed on schedule,  once every three years.

“It’s heartening to know that  residents  have formed a group to look after the lake and its surroundings.

“They have also been collecting money to maintain the lake for the benefit of anglers,”   she added.
