Recycle: Customers who drop off their old phones, batteries or chargers at participating DiGi centres will receive a mystery gift.

DiGi’s Business Environment Management head Sumitra Nair said the month-long recycling campaign is part of the company’s ongoing Deep Green commitment towards environmental sustainability.

“This recycling campaign is our way of encouraging our customers to play their part in greening the environment.
“By making collection points easily accessible, we provide customers a convenient way to dispose their old mobile phones, batteries and chargers,” said Nair.

DiGi will also ensure that all these electronic waste will be handled and disposed in a responsible and environmental-friendly manner through our ISO 14001 environment management system process.

The participating DiGi centres include Bukit Tinggi, SS2, Soho KL, Berjaya Times Square, Bangsar, The Gardens, Sunway, Kuantan, Seberang Jaya, Beach Street, Pulau Tikus, Ipoh, Api-Api, Borneo One, Kuching, Miri, Seremban, Melaka, Batu Pahat and Taman Molek.

The new mobile phones will be given away to the lucky draw winners who will be notified by the respective DiGi Centre two weeks after the campaign ends.
